Parking on E. Mission Bay Drive: (0 to 1 mile) Street parking on E. Mission Bay Drive is available in front of Tecolote Shores and to the north of the Start / Finish area. These spaces are expected to fill up first. Note, the spaces in front of Tecolote Shores are "Back In Only" so please be careful when backing into the spots.

CORPORATE CHALLENGE
Does your work have a Corporate Wellness Program?
Companies, businesses and organizations can now participate in our Corporate Challenge! The Corporate Challenge is a great way to encourage fitness, team building and camaraderie within you business. Participating is EASY and businesses can sign up their employees or have their employees register individually. Businesses signing up 6 or more employees are eligible for a 10% Corporate Discount. To signup and register your business please email info@mermaidseries.com
How does it work?
The Corporate Challenge consists of two categories, the Wellness Excellence (WE) Award and the Fastest Industry Team (FIT) Award.
The Wellness Excellence (WE) Award is given to the business with the most points scored based on the number of employees who cross the finish line. Employees can register for ANY of the race distances at the race and the business with the MOST points wins the WE Award. Points are awarded as follows:
5K Finishers = 2 points
10K Finishers = 4 points
Half Marathon Finishers = 6 points
The Fastest Industry Team (FIT) Award is given to the business with the fastest combined time for their top 3 employees in the 5k. For example, the top 3 5k finish times for Corporation A are added up and ranked against the top 3 5k finish times for Corporation B. The Corporation with the fastest (lowest) combined time wins the FIT Award.
How do we know if our corporation, business or organization won?
After the event we will add up the points scored for your employees for the Wellness Excellence (WE) Awardand the top three 5k finish times for the Fittest Industry Team (FIT) Award. Winners of the WE and FIT awards will be notified after the event and your company will be announced as the winning company in our Post Race Update to all of our participants. This is a great way to highlight your company as a healthy and fun place to work!
